A short film about Free-diving

IFrame

With Guillaume Néry by Marcello Pastonesi brought to you by Cressi. Language: French – Subtitled: English.

In this short film, shot by Marcello Pastonesi in the summer of 2018 in the Marine Protected Area of Portofino (Liguria, Italy), the French free-diving champion Guillaume Néry tells what he feels when he dives. He uses a SUP as a good way to reach places as the other side of a bay, for example, instead of walking or driving. It allows him to move completely disconnected. “What I’m looking for when I dive”, says Guillaume, “is that FEELING OF FREEDOM to be able to leave the surface and abandon myself to the SENSATION OF FLYING”. Guillaume Néry wears a complete freediving range of Cressi equipment: - the two-piece wetsuit CRESSI FREE, that has been specially designed to provide the diver with a feeling of total freedom and comfort. To facilitate penetration into the water, it features a very smooth outer surface made of neoprene that has undergone the SECOND SKIN treatment, for greatly reduced friction in the water. The low-waist pants without shoulder straps do not apply pressure to the chest and promote effective ventilation; - the mask CRESSI CALIBRO, the first mask in the world equipped with the exclusive FOG-STOP SYSTEM that drastically reduces the fogging on the lenses (near the nose there is a special pocket that stops the condensation) and equipped with the IDF-Integrated Dual Frame Technology which offers exceptional field of view; - the fins CRESSI GARA MODULAR NERY with interchangeable softer LD blade, lightweight and extremely effective, suited to free diving at considerable depths. The Modular SELF ADJUSTING FOOT POCKET is moulded in two different materials and has an extra soft zone that stretches to improve fit, even when wearing very thick boots.
